According to the local newspaper, a Carroll County teen is facing charges of first degree murder, arson, and animal cruelty after allegedly locking his half-brother in a closet and setting the house on fire.

The Delta News reports that Thomas Perry III is accused of stuffing his half-brother Orlando “King” Pittman in a closet.

Police said in a press release that they recieved a call of a fire at Vaiden Rental Apartments and King was found by authorities in the closet in the burned apartment. Perry was arrested the next day.

It’s unclear what the animal cruelty charge was for. The exact ages of King Pittman and Thomas Perry are also unclear.
