The Adams County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group executed a search warrant early Wednesday at 503 North Rankin St. in the City of Natchez.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said his deputies have been investigating the residence for some time due to the number of complaints of drug activity.

ACSO deputies arrested Jason Fulton, 43, the tenant there, for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested were Taire Nelson, 31, whom deputies allege had been supplying crack cocaine to the residence; and Olivia Dixon, 38.

Both Nelson and Dixon were charged with Possession of Schedule II (Crack Cocaine) with Intent to Deliver with a Firearms Enhancement; Possession of Schedule II (Cocaine HCL) with Intent to Deliver with a Firearms Enhancement; Felons in Possession of a Firearm; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and Possession of Stolen Weapon.

Patten said that they had become so bold that some users would buy crack at the home then smoke it openly on the front porch, according to the Natchez Democrat.

“The amount of traffic that was coming and going from the residence was non-stop and I am glad our deputies were able to get the source of crack cocaine not just the buyers that were coming to the residence to smoke crack cocaine and make their purchase,” he said.

Patten said in a press release that he knows the neighbors on North Rankin Street should get some peace and quiet for a little while.
