The Jones County Sheriff’s Department has taken custody of Kendriques Jacks, age 20, on an extradition waiver from the Erie County Prison in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Jacks was wanted on a Bench Warrant issued by Jones County Circuit Court Judge Dal Williamson for Failure To Keep In Touch With Attorney in relation to three counts of Shooting Into An Occupied Dwelling.

The arrest of Kendriques Jacks was the result of a traffic stop by the Erie Police Department. Jacks had been listed as wanted by JCSD on the FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and was arrested after being stopped.

“Fleeing from Jones County when you are wanted on charges is a terribly poor decision,” said Jones County Sheriff Joe Berlin. “The long arm of the law in this case extended all the way to Erie, Pennsylvania.”

Jacks will appear in Jones County Circuit Court in the coming days on his Bench Warrant.
