A man is fighting for his life after being shot in the neck Thursday, according to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies were called to the 1000 block of North Live Oak Street in McComb for a shooting and found the victim, whose name has not yet been released.
The victim was later airlifted to the University of Mississippi Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Deputies are now searching for the alleged suspect, Demarques Washington. He is wanted for questioning regarding the shooting that occurred on North Live Oak St.
Washington is 21, 5’6″ tall, 135 lbs, and has black hair and black eyes. Authorities say he is armed and dangerous.
