Brandon Police need help identifying man from Public Library incident

The Brandon Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in an incident at the Brandon Public Library on Thursday, March 24, between 6:00 – 7:00 PM.

An unidentified man entered the library and was observed by another library patron watching them from behind a bookshelf while engaging himself in lewd conduct. Upon reviewing surveillance video, it appeared the man engaged in this activity for nearly an hour before being spotted. When the victim saw what the man was doing and reported him to library staff, he ran to his vehicle and fled the scene before police arrived.

Anyone with information that leads to an arrest could be eligible for up to a $2,500 reward.
