On Friday, October 6, at approximately 4:41 a.m., the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a fatal crash on Highway 27 in Walthall County.

According to MHP, a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 35-year-old Nancy Gonzalez-Zelay of Tylertown, driving south on Highway 27 when it collided with a 2012 Toyota CRW driven by 71-year-old Annie Magee, of
Tylertown, MS, traveling north on Highway 27.

Nancy Gonzalez-Zelay received fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead on the scene.

This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
