On November 9th, detectives with the Oxford Police Department were notified about a case concerning the exploitation of a vulnerable adult.

Police officers investigated the incident and arrested 31-year-old Mallorie Percell, of Oxford. She was arrested and charged with Exploitation of a Vulnerable Person.

Percell was taken before a Municipal Court judge for her initial bond hearing and issued a $5,000 bond.

The Oxford Police Department said the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department also helped with the case.
