Oxford Woman Arrested For Exploitation of A Vulnerable Person

On September 8, an investigator with the Oxford Police Department was called by an individual reporting possible credit card fraud.
During the investigation, officers learned that 27-year-old Hannah Russell from Oxford had used a cell phone while at a drug treatment center to transfer money from another person’s credit card.
A warrant for Exploitation of a Vulnerable Person was issued for her arrest.
She was arrested on September 14th and taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center on the outstanding warrant. Her bond was set at $25,000.
