On March 17, at approximately 9:23 am, Detective Oglesby with the Corinth Police Department responded to 1403 Linden Street in reference to a white female knocking on the business windows.
When Det. Oglesby arrived, he identified the subject as Amity Hubbard. She was outside walking around the business holding two backpacks.
Upon further investigation, a clear plastic baggy with a crystal-like substance was found inside one of the backpacks.
Hubbard was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (“Methamphetamine).
The narcotics will be sent to the MS State Crime Lab for confirmation testing and this case will be presented to an Alcorn County Grand Jury.
