A 42-year-old man was killed in a crash in Copiah County in the early hours of Monday morning.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials said the two-vehicle crash was reported about 1:46 a.m. Monday on US-51, north of J & M Drive.
Leobardo G. Morales, of Wesson, was traveling south on US-51, when the front of his vehicle collided with the front of a northbound 2018 Freightliner, driven by a 63-year-old Hollandale man, Trooper First Class Ron Bosarge said in a news release.
Morales died at the scene, Bosarge said. No other injuries were reported.
The crash is under investigation.
