Isolated to scattered showers and storms are expected today. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s with persistent high humidity.

From the National Weather Service:

The combination of persistent heat and humidity will reach extremely dangerous levels through Saturday, especially across the northwest Delta. Heat indices will reach the 105 to 110 degree range for the entire area, while in the 110 to 115 degree range in the northwest Delta. Residents should avoid prolonged outdoor activity, stay hydrated and take frequent breaks.
