A Vicksburg man was arrested for trafficking of narcotics and illegal weapons.
28-year-old Larry Johnson was arrested Sunday, May 4 at the Eastbrook Apartments.
Offiers responded at 11:11 p.m. after reports of shots fired.
When officers approached Johnson, he was acting suspiciously. Officers found cocaine and fentanyl in his possession along with two loaded Glock pistol magazines and $775 in cash.
A search of the immediate area revealed a Glock handgun with an illegal “switch” installed to make it a fully automatic weapon.
Johnson appeared in court on May 6 on charges of Trafficking of Cocaine, Trafficking of Fentanyl, and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
His bond was set at $80,000 and he was bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
