According to a press release from the Vicksburg Police Department, one man was arrested in connection with a shooting on Saturday.
The shooting happened at 6:42 p.m. Saturday on 1100 First North Street.
Police said surveillance footage captured a man firing multiple shots toward a building. He was identified as 41-year-old Frederick Hill, aka Whip.
Multiple shell casings were recovered near the building.
Hill is charged with discharging a firearm and weapon possession by a convicted felon.
Hill’s bond was set at $50,000, and he will be bound over to the Warren County Grand Jury.
