Two Oxford men were recently arrested for making threats. The cases are not related.
Kendrick Market:
On March 13th, the Oxford Police Department was dispatched to the 1100 block of Molly Barr Road for an individual threatening the caller.
After investigation, 30-year-old Kendrick Market, of Batesville, was arrested and charged with Commerical Burglary and Aggravated Stalking.
Market was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $35,000 bond.
Darrius Buford:
On August 16th, 2022 the Oxford Police Department was dispatched to the 200 block of Hathorn Road for an ex-employee making threats towards a business.
After investigation, 38-year-old Darris Buford, of Como, was arrested and charged with Terroristic Threats.
Buford was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $25,000 bond.
