A man and woman were charged with Felony Shoplifting in Starkville after an incident at Lowe’s Tuesday night.
According to the Starkville Police Department, 27-year-old Willie Stafford (from Columbus) and 40-year-old Robert Pelphrey (from Columbus) were charged with felony shoplifting.
The call was initiated by a concerned citizen who reported suspicious activity outside of Lowe’s.
Officers arrived in the area and found the suspect vehicle in the area of Kroger. Both were arrested outside Kroger without incident.
Property was recovered from multiple Starkville businesses and the incidents remain under investigation.
