Tupelo Police Arrest Woman For Felony Shoplifting, Grand Larceny

A woman in Tupelo was arrested for felony shoplifting and grand larceny.
Police said on April 40, officers with the Tupelo Police Department were dispatched to a business in the Barnes Crossing area.
They were told that two individuals had shoplifted over $1,000 worth of merchandise from the business. The suspects were arrested on scene and one was found to have multiple active warrants through Tupelo Municipal Court.
The Tupelo Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division was also investigating two Grand Larceny cases that occurred in February at a business on South Green Street. In both cases, Brandy Allred, was identified as a suspect.
On May 2, 42-year-old Brandy Allred (from Nettleton) was charged with one count of Felony Shoplifting and two counts of Grand Larceny.
On 05-02-24, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Allred to be held on a $50,000 bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
