On March 18, the Tupelo Police Department made a traffic stop on Ida Street for a car driving carelessly.
The driver of the vehicle was found to be in possession of misdemeanor narcotics and a firearm.
After further investigation, 64-year-old Erical C. Trimble (from Tupelo) was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department and charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen set Trimble’s bond at $7,500. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
