On March 13, officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded to a report of a Burglary of a Commercial Building on North Gloster Street.
Officers were able to obtain evidence of the crime and a description of the stolen property.
Several hours later, officers located the suspect and were able to recover property from the burglary.
60-year-old James Carter (Walls, MS) was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department and charged with Burglary of a Commercial Building.
Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Carter’s bond at $25,000. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
