On May 10, Tupelo Police Officers responded to 527 Carnation Street (Salvation Army) in response to threats being made by an individual.
Upon arrival, officers were informed that a suspect had threatened several individuals with bodily harm and also made threats to “shoot up” a nongovernmental relief agency.
The suspect was found nearby and taken into custody.
After further investigation, 26-year-old Willie J. Lynom (of Tupelo) was charged with Making A Terroristic Threat.
