On February 23, officers with the Tupelo Police Department responded to a call of a burglary on Oak Leaf Lane.

When officers arrived, they talked to the property owner who told them that an individual who was not supposed to be on the property by court order had broken into the home and physically assaulted individuals inside.

While speaking with the owner, the suspect returned and was arrested for multiple misdemeanor offenses.

44-year-old Ramon R. Estrada (from Tupelo) was charged with Burglary of a Dwelling by the Tupelo Police Department.

On February 23, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Allen ordered Estrada to be held without bond. These charges will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury.
