Wednesday Weather: rainy, warm, possible storms ahead of cold front

Mary Apel

We’ll see some rain showers and possible thunderstorms this afternoon as a cold front moves south through the region. Temperatures should warm into the 70s and lower 80s before the cold front arrives.

Some isolated thunderstorms could be severe, particularly to the East. These storms will be capable of producing damaging wind gusts and large hail.

Temperatures should fall into the 40s behind the cold front tonight.
