Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks officers arrested Brandon Wayne Massey of Tishomingo County, on felony charges of possession of methamphetamine, enhanced by the presence of a firearm.

The arrest occurred during a routine stop, where authorities discovered the controlled substance and the firearm.

Judge Seth Adams set Massey’s bond at $20,000.

Additionally, a hold was placed on Massey by the Itawamba County Sheriff’s Office due to a prior narcotics arrest.

Massey remains in custody as the investigation continues. Further details about the case are expected as both counties coordinate on the legal proceedings.
