On Sunday afternoon, April 7, while doing daytime narcotic operations, three people were arrested and over $80,000 of drug money was seized.
A narcotics unit with the Pontotoc County Criminal Investigation Division and patrol deputies were patrolling county and state roads.
They confiscated $83,001 of drug money and arrested three Vietnamese nationals.
The Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department said that drug money is forfeited, by MS code 41-29-153, to the arresting Law Enforcement Agency.
