Around 06:19 p.m. Tuesday, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to a three-vehicle crash on I-55 near the 76-mile marker in Hinds County.
A 2014 Nissan Versa, a 2017 Nissan Maxima, and a 2008 Pontiac G6 were all traveling south on I-55 when the Pontiac G6 collided with the Maxima and the Versa.
The driver of the Maxima received no injuries in the crash. The driver of the Versa and the driver and passengers of the 2008 Pontiac G6 received injuries and were transported to UMMC in Jackson.
This crash remains under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
