On Monday June 06, the Flowood Police Department Patrol and Criminal Investigative Divisions responded to a construction site within the city limits of Flowood regarding the theft of a Miller welding machine.

After developing several leads, detectives in cooperation with the Hinds County Sheriff’s Department located the stolen welder at a residence in the unincorporated parts of Terry.

Once the stolen welder had been recovered, detectives learned that an individual named Russell Cameron Bryant had sold it to the resident at this location. Detectives along with deputies of HCSD located Bryant at his home in Terry where he was arrested for Grand Larceny.

Bryant later appeared before Flowood Municipal Judge Don Leland and is currently being held in the Rankin County Jail.
