Tennessee Man Arrested After Dollar General, Exxon Robbed In Mississippi

A man from Murfreesboro Tennessee was arrested in three armed robberies in Mississippi on Tuesday, April 9.

On Tuesday, Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to Dollar General on Highway 25 near Goat Island regarding an armed robbery that had happened a short time before.

While Deputies were en route to Dollar General, Tishomingo County 911 dispatched Iuka Police Officers to an armed robbery at Exxon in Iuka, MS.

Iuka Police Officers and Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Deputies located the suspect vehicle, which was described by witnesses, in the parking lot of Brooks Grocery in Iuka.

Jameson Prentis Jones, of Murfreesboro, was taken into custody without incident. He is being charged with three counts of Armed Robbery and is in the Tishomingo County Jail awaiting bond.
