Indianola Police are investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday, Jan 30, and ended in the parking lot of South Sunflower County hospital with one teen dead and two other victims wounded.
Sunflower County Coroner Heather Burton confirmed that one 16-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Another victim was reportedly airlifted from the hospital.
“Enough is enough, Indianola. We need to put the guns down,” said Indianola Mayor Ken Featherstone in a video statement Sunday night.
