A Greenville man is dead after a shooting Saturday morning.

Greenville Police Detectives are investigating the incident that occurred on Wasson Drive that left one man dead. On Saturday, police responded to a call of a man being shot at a residence in the 1000 block of Wasson Drive around 8am.

When officers arrived, they found the body of 26 year old Terrence Thomas of Greenville, who appeared to have suffered a gunshot wound.

Investigators are questioning witnesses and persons of interest in this case. This case is still under investigation, and more information will become available as it is released.
