Starkville Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder and Residential Burglary After Domestic Incident

The Starkville Police Department has reported that they are investigating two overnight domestic-related incidents that occurred in Starkville at 625 S. Montgomery Street.
According to police, She’Lia Hall, 19, was accused of burglarizing an apartment at the above address, and then later coming back to the apartment firing shots outside the residence.
A vehicle outside the apartment was struck by the gunfire.
Starkville police arrested Hall or attempted murder and residential burglary.
Hall was transported to and is currently at the Oktibbeha County Jail.
“Incidents such as these are a reminder of the dangers of domestic violence,” said Starkville Police Chief Mark Ballard. “I am thankful for our officers and detectives who swiftly apprehended this suspect.”
