According to Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department, a woman has been arrested for allegedly stabbing her husband in the arm.
41-year-old Lisa Marie Smith, of Rienzi, was charged with Domestic Violence- Aggravated Assault on July 23.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, a 911 call was received about a fight between a husband nd wife.
When deputies arrived, they found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the arm. He was transported to Booneville Hospital, treated, and then released.
Her bond was set at $50,000 with a no-contact order.
Investigator Jason Chism will present the case to the next Prentiss County Grand Jury.
