According to WMC, the parents of a 13-year-old are facing charge after a deadly shooting.

The incident happened in Coahoma County where a 13-year-old was shot and killed on March 15 on Amber Cove in Lyon, Mississippi.

WMC reports that the investigation revealed the 13-year-old boy was playing with another 13-year-old who pulled the trigger, accidentally killing him.

Deputies told WMC that the boys were the only people inside the home at the time of the shooting. The child who pulled the trigger is charged as an adult with manslaughter and culpable negligence. His parents are also charged.

49-year-old Lashaner Marshall is charged with contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a child.

65-year-old Gill Marshall is charged with contributing to the neglect or delinquency of a child and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
