One individual has been arrested, and one is wanted in a shooting incident in Claiborne County.
According to the sheriff’s department, on November 14, at 11:43 p.m. deputies responded to a shooting that happened near 61 South.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a woman was hit by a bullet when multiple shots were fired into her house.
The suspect has been identified as Shelvionte Farmer, and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Authorities are actively seeking information from the public that may lead to the apprehension of the suspect. Farmer is considered armed and dangerous, and individuals with relevant information are urged to contact the Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office at 601-437-5161.
In connection with this incident, Wil’Bresha Hedrick has been arrested for accessory after the fact. The investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement is working diligently to bring all responsible parties to justice.
