The Jones County Sheriff’s Department responded to a shooting Wednesday, December 6 at 3:57 p.m. in the Hoy community.
An individual was shot in Windsor Court off of Hoy Road, according to police.
The incident is being investigated by the Jones County Sheriff’s Department as a homicide involving a male juvenile victim.
A male suspect is in custody and police say there is no threat to the community.
The investigation is active and additional information will be provided by the Jones County Sheriff’s Department as soon as possible.
