On September 17th at approximately 6:30 p.m. Copiah County Deputies responded to a shooting on Sardis Road.
Police said the suspect, 21-year-old Larry Thrasher was arrested near the scene.
The victim, who was also his brother, 25-year-old Kawalarius Thrasher, died due to multiple gunshot wounds. He was taken to the Copiah County Medical Center but died due to multiple gunshot wounds.
According to witness statements both subjects, who are brothers, were arguing over a cell phone charger.
Larry Thrasher is being held in the Copiah County Jail and has not been given a bond at this point.
