The Hinds County Sheriff’s Department, along with Cade Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and Gray Daniels Automotive, gave away 64 bikes to children from the community on Thursday morning at Cade’s Chapel. The event, which was supposed to start at 10 but got rolling a little early, was already finished by 10:07 a.m. after all the excited children picked up their bicycles.

Neighborhood children were qualified ahead of time for the bicycles, and both Sheriff Tyree Jones and Cade Chapel Pastor Reginald Buckley said it was a great way to give back to the community, but also to give children lifetime memories by giving them bicycles of their very own.
