The nationally touring improvised comedy show Scriptless in Seattle is making its way to Meridian as part of its 2024 tour.

The performance will take place at the Temple Theatre on Friday, October 11, at 7 p.m.

Scriptless in Seattle sets itself apart by offering a completely unscripted and spontaneous show, where every line, sound, and movement is created in the moment.

This means each performance is unique to the audience in attendance.

The show has been praised for its family-friendly humor, making it an ideal night out for all ages.

“I’ve been touring with this show for years and doing improvised comedy shows for even longer,” said tour manager and emcee Justin Folger. “The real fun is that none of the hundreds of shows I’ve put on have been similar to the ones before it.

The show that audiences will see is one that has never been performed before and will never be performed again—and we mean it!”

The cast, including veteran performer James Trombka and comedian Charlie Hubbell, promises high-quality entertainment.

“We take suggestions from the audience and use them to create improvised musicals, film noirs, game shows, and even serenade audience members—all on the spot,” Hubbell explained.

The show draws inspiration from the popular TV series Whose Line Is It Anyway?, incorporating familiar sketch styles with a fresh twist.

“I love looking out at the audiences, seeing everyone from families with young kids to couples that have been together 55 years on a night out, and knowing that every one of them will leave with a smile on their face,” said Trombka.

Tickets for Scriptless in Seattle are on sale now and can be purchased at ScriptlessInSeattle.com, starting at $20.

The Meridian show is part of the group’s nationwide tour, which includes stops in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Tennessee, and Florida.
