According to WTVA, a Monroe County woman is behind bars for faking her nursing credentials.
Mary Moore was arrested around 7 p.m. last Tuesday at the Care Center in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen Police Chief Quinell Shumpert told WTVA that nursing home employees became suspicious about whether or not Moore was qualified after they noticed how she handled some tasks at the nursing home.
Moore was hired in October of 2023.
Chief Shumpert later said Moore was a licensed practical nurse (LPN) at one point but not a registered nurse (RN), which is the job she applied for.
Moore is charged with false pretense.
