Man, Woman Armed With Brass Knuckles Arrested For Aggravated Assault

On the morning of October 7, the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department received a call from the Booneville Hospital advising they had a male subject who had been assaulted.
Deputies arrived and spoke with the victim at the emergency room.
The victim told deputies that two people knocked on the door of his house around 2:00 a.m. Once the door was opened the two suspects entered the residence and started beating him.
After further investigation 49-year-old Ryan Wade Henderson and 33-year-old Marilyn Andrea Howell both of Booneville were charged with Aggravated Assault – Use of Deadly Weapon or other Means Likely to Produce Death or Serious Bodily Harm and Burglary, Breaking and Entering of a Dwelling House /Home Invasion.
Marilyn Andrea Howell was also charged with Possession of Weapon by Felon, due to the fact of her having brass knuckles at the time of her arrest.
Howell has two prior felony charges with Prentiss County Circuit Court for Possession of Oxycodone (2016) and False Pretense (2016).
She will be presented as a habitual offender. Investigators Torie Jumper and Jason Chism are over the case.
Deputies Dennis Peeks, Josh Brumley, Ridge Lawson and Cody Horn assisted in the investigation. The case will be presented to the Prentiss County Grand Jury.
Henderson’s bond was set at $50,000 and Howell’s bond $75,000.
