According to Capitol Police Spokesperson Bailey Martin, an individual has been hospitalized after he fell off a bridge in Jackson.
At approximately 1:15 p.m., Capitol police were called to the Fortification Street bridge on I-55 South.
When officers arrived, they gave first aid to the individual who was injured from the fall.
AMR arrived and transported the person to a near by hospital.
Capitol police interviewed several witnesses on the scene and gathered evidence for the case.
At this time, no foul play is suspected.
This is an open investigation.
