On Wednesday, July 3, the Jackson Police Department began investigating a homicide that occurred in the 5900 block of Lake Trace Cir.
Detectives learned that the victim was shot at this location.
Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
The victim is identified as Roitavious Greenfield.
