A man was arrested and charged after a string of Auto Burglaries in Vicksburg.

30-year-old Tylon Williams was in the process of burglarizing another car when he was caught by patrol deputies on August 9th. Patrol deputies were called about a suspicious vehicle on Old Trace.

They took Williams into custody. The auto burglaries began July 11th and the last one was the one that resulted in his arrest on August 9th.

According to Warren County Sheriff Pace, the auto burglaries happened in the area south of Vicksburg around Fisher Ferry, Hall Ferry, and Lee Road.

Sheriff Pace said Williams had already been developed as a suspect and they were able to connect him with nine auto burglaries, one Grand Larceny, and one attempted Car Burglary.

They found $1900 cash, two billfolds, and they are working on searching his home and vehicle.

Williams had an outstanding warrant from Warren County for a drug court violation. When he had his initial appearance in court, he didn’t get bail. His case will be presented to the grand jury.
