Lucedale Woman Arrested After 538 Grams Of Meth Found During Traffic Stop

On September 29, a George County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputy conducted a traffic stop in the Agricola community on a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Savannah Faye Blackston, of Lucedale.
During a search of Blackston’s vehicle, deputies found approximately 538 grams of methamphetamine.
Blackston was placed under arrest and transported to George County Regional Correctional Facility, after an initial appearance before Judge Martin Seib, Blackston was held on a $25,000.00 cash bond for Possession of A Controlled Substance (aggravated trafficking).
Savannah Faye Blackston is also out on a $20,000 bond for a previous drug arrest in the Shipman community where Blackston was found to be in possession of approximately 14.5 grams of methamphetamine.
This case is being investigated by the Southeast Mississippi Narcotics TaskForce (SMNTF) and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics (MBN).
