The Lee County Sheriff announced the arrest of one person in a recent rash of car burglaries.
On November 2, between 12 and 3 a.m., one or more people targeted multiple vehicles outside of homes in the area of County Road 1498, 1459, and 1554. This is the Eggburn and Auburn area.
All the targeted vehicles were left unlocked.
Several surveillance videos were found that show the alleged suspect/suspects.
In the early morning hours of Friday, deputies arrested one juvenile individual and charged him with these burglaries.
Deputies recovered most, if not all of the property taken out of the vehicle.
This investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
