This morning at 7:15 am, Powers and Sandersville volunteer fire departments responded to a two-vehicle collision at Northeast Drive and Buckley Road in Jones County, next to Northeast Jones High School.
Upon arrival of the first fire personnel at the scene, firefighters found a dump truck and a four-door sedan and two individuals involved. The roadway was partially blocked due to the incident.
The two occupants of the vehicles sustained what appeared to be minor injuries and declined medical treatment and transport to the emergency department by Emserv Ambulance Service personnel on the scene.
The sedan sustained moderate damage and the dump truck sustained minor damage. Jones County Sheriff’s Office was also on the scene.
