A man was arrested after a police pursuit down I-220. The suspect rammed a Ridgeland Patrol Car, crashing near Northside Drive in Jackson.
He then jumped out of his vehicle and took off running into the woods.
According to Chief Bryan Myers, the suspect, 26-year-old Roy Cedric Rodriquez, rammed a Ridgeland patrol car then jumped out of his vehicle and ran into the woods.
He was tracked by a K9 officer and apprehended without further incident.
Chief Myers said that no officers or members of the public were injured.
