Human remains found in Southaven on Sunday have been sent to the Mississippi Crime Lab, officials said.
Southaven Police say they received a call about possible human remains located in the area of Central Park on Sunday. Once on scene, Officers were able to determine that the remains were human.
The Desoto County Coroner made the scene and collected the remains. They will be sent to the Mississippi Crime Lab for further testing.
Central Park will remain closed Monday as police continue to process the scene.
