On Tuesday, Sept. 13, Hattiesburg Police formally charged an individual wanted in a recent domestic-related shooting.
28-year-old Cedrick Moffett Jr., of Hattiesburg, was taken into custody on Monday by Louisville Mississippi authorities, on an active warrant pertaining to the Sept. 7, 2022 shooting where Moffett Jr., fired a weapon at his mother.
She received a graze wound during the domestic-related incident that occurred in the 800 block of Quinn Street.
Moffett Jr., was transported back to Hattiesburg Tuesday afternoon, and booked into the Forrest County Jail for one count of Domestic Violence- Aggravated Assault.
