Tupelo police arrested Jason M. Adams, a 44-year-old male from Hamilton, in connection with a case of grand larceny. The arrest follows the issuance of a Lee County Circuit Court Alias Capias Warrant, stemming from an incident reported in 2021.

According to authorities, the warrant is linked to a report filed last year, wherein a victim alleged the theft of a boom truck from a construction site. The investigation led law enforcement to Adams, who was identified as a suspect in the case.

Upon serving the warrant, Adams was taken into custody by the Tupelo Police Department. It was noted that at the time of the issuance of the capias warrant by the Lee County Circuit Court, Adams was ordered to be held without bond, reflecting the seriousness of the charges against him.

Currently, the case is pending trial in the Lee County Circuit Court, where Adams will face charges related to grand larceny. The arrest marks a significant step forward in the ongoing efforts by law enforcement to address criminal activities within the community.
