A Guntown man was arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop earlier this week.
Officials from the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Department say around 1:45 a.m. Sunday, deputies were conducting nighttime narcotics operations when Barry Earl Hall Jr, 51, was stopped by patrol in the Furr’s community.
In a Thursday release, officials said Hall was arrested and the Major Case Unit opened an investigation.
Hall was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with a firearm enhancement, possession of drug paraphernalia, and some misdemeanor charges.
Hall’s Felony bond was set at $7,500.
