On April 29, George County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to the 200 block of Depot Rd. in reference to a burglary in progress.
The homeowner reportedly found two suspects actively placing items that had been stolen from within his home, into the suspect’s vehicle.
Source: George County SOPrior to Deputies arrival, both suspects fled the scene.
The Sheriff’s Department said they have both suspects’ phones and their car! If they want them back, they said to contact the George County Sheriff’s Office at (601) 947-4811.
